Forged & SKEW Ball

The suitable breakage factor at the first step of milling process in Iron Ore factories that make a usage of Balls with more hardness and ductility.

SKEW Ball Forming

SAF Trading Co. is the newest technology producer for making large amounts of spherical or cylindrical metal requests with a reasonable mechanical character.

SKEW ball forming characteristics:

  • High hardness about 55-60 HRC
  • Good wear resistance
  • No breakage
  • Lack of mismatch
  • Qualified Roundness
  • Qualified Surface without any Slags, Defects, Cracks …
  • Suitable impact toughness
  • Suitable for at least second step of milling process with enough abrasion of balls that causes getting to much more finning about 40 micrones

FORGING HOT PRESS

We offer a suitable breakage factor at the first step of the milling process in iron ore factories or similar processes requiring balls with greater hardness and ductility and large dimensions reasonable for users, which must be taken into account by the manufacturers.

We can supply 60-125 mm diameter balls through hot pressing. Some of the advantages of this method include excellent quality, no defects such as slag inclusion, over burning, or porosity that exists in similar casting processes, and also optimization of the microstructure, high toughness, ductility, and abrasion characters that generally make balls so suitable for the first step of the milling process, in which the users aim for breakage of about 1 cm.
